The purpose of the leaflet is to raise awareness of child abuse and neglect amongst those statutory/community/voluntary workers coming into contact with vulnerable children and families at this time.

Grieving in Exceptional Times, The Irish Hospice Foundation
The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the traditional ways we mark our grief. For the moment, it is not possible to come together and to gather in one location. It is not possible to have a large funeral. It may not be possible to receive the company of those who wish to offer condolences. However, we can support ourselves and each other in different ways.

Friendly Call Service

The Friendly Call Cork service, for older people and those that are isolated and alone, is available and the service are ready to increase their capacity significantly to cope with this new situation. The Friendly Call team will ring individuals everyday to check in with them, ensure that they are okay and chat about their worries.

They will also endeavour to deliver shopping to individuals who don't have anyone else to call on.

If you know of people who could benefit from this service please contact Brenda Barry on 087-6366407 or
