CCA is prevention activity aimed at enabling supports for children and families within their own community. It is a holistic service designed to meet the identified needs of children, young people, caregivers and siblings and to address a range of life issues through the team-based planning and implementation. CCA also aims to facilitate and enable the problem-solving skills, coping skills, and self-efficacy of the young people and family members. There is also an emphasis on integrating young people into the community and building the family’s social support network.
